The Capilla royal was a chapel built from 1505 to 1521. The construction fell under catholic kings. The front to the north was integrated later on. There are tombs of the kings that are a delight to visit. There are collections and paintings of Queen Isabel. Other works found here include those of Berreguete, Bouts, Botticelli and Van der Weyden. The sword and scepter of King Fernando can also be seen here along with the queen’s crown.

The La Lonja is a 16th century building that has a plateresque style. It is a market building worth visiting. El Albaicin is on a hill that faces Alhambra. It was the residence of the kings in the 11th century.

The region has a lot of places to go sightseeing and will never be a dull choice.
